Price Simms Family Dealership Group Gifts The Salvation Army $100,000 for Disaster ReliefSACRAMENTO, CA (October 20, 2020) - Price Simms Family Dealership Group has made a generous donation of$100,000 to The Salvation Army to support the nonprofit's disaster relief efforts. The Salvation Army is on the groundbefore, during and long after a disaster. They are part of the communities in which they serve. This amazing gift willhelp the nonprofit serve those who lost everything in recent wildfires and ensure The Salvation Army is ready torespond to the next unfortunate disaster."Unfortunately, these disasters have become way too familiar in the past few years," said Major Ivan Wild,Salvation Army Divisional Commander. "It has been a drain on our resources but thanks to this generous supportwe can continue meet the need. In Napa, TheSalvation Army Napa Valley Culinary Training Academy has helped provide meals to wildfire evacuees, first respondersand those struggling to make ends meet due to COVID for more than 200 consecutive days. At the height of the recentwildfires, they provided more than 4,000 meals per day. The Kroc Center crew responds at a moment's notice towildfires and spot fires in Solano County.
